What do my MRI (lumbar spine) results mean? - anterior osteophytes on spine
There are some osteophyte formation on the surface of the L4 and 5-1 narrowing of the space. I think that the expansion would mean / Spurs / disc and narrowing of the L4 and L5? Right? But what does 5-1 mean? Thank you in advance of people.

The -1 is accompanied by the narrowing of the space will not be L5.
There is a charm that comes from the upper surface of the L4 vertebra (4. lumbar vertebra) and narrowing of the L5,) S1 disk space (between the 5th lumbar and sacral spinal 1st level.
These standards are generally considered as mild degenerative changes.
